Product Summary
The ski in details
The Master version of the Racetiger GS for uncompromising high-speed turns.
The Racetiger GS Master knows no compromises and is the first choice for anyone looking for maximum performance and dynamics. Equipped with Völkl’s reinforced technologies for the slopes, it leaves nothing to be desired and offers magnificent possibilities for performance skiers. The two major factors in this regard are the tailored carbon tips and the full ash core, which was previously reserved for our WC line. To precisely control the torsion in the shovel area, Völkl established a complex process to embroider carbon fibres onto a fleece – the tailored carbon tip. The result is direct and precise tip response on a previously unachieved level, as well as a whole diffrent level of energy build-up the moment you begin to turn. Due to the full ash core, the energy generated is distributed over the entire length of the ski and released at the end of the turn. A short tip rocker, full Titanal, full sidewall, 3D.Glass construction and P-Tex 4505 race base complete this high performance model. With 67 mm under the boot, a 17.5 m radius (178 cm length) and a WC racing plate, skiers will enjoy the feeling of a ‘real racing ski’ with a commercial sidecut.
Technologies
3D.Glass
Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Base P-Tex 4504
A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density.
Full Sidewall
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Full Sidewall ABS
The specific synthetic substance of the entire sidewall enables a precise and direct power transfer.
Full Titanal
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Marker Worldcup Plate
High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed. Of course the interface is compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
Tailored Carbon Tips
In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material.
Tip Rocker
Character: Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape.
Woodcore
Special PU construction with a wooden core in the ski body.
Worldcup Ash Woodcore
While the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel.
