In White Pine you'll encounter a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The oldest ski resort in Wyoming is famous for its impeccable service and family-friendliness. In contrast, if you like the sound of riding a snowcat into untouched terrain for some serious powder action, head to Grand Targhee. You can rent private snowcats and use them to access the resort's very own “Snowcat Zone”. Snowy Range's fantastic location in the middle of Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest also makes it well worth a visit.
