Snowbird is especially recommendable for families with older kids!

A total of 65 % of snowbird`s terrain is earmarked as easy and intermediate level terrain which makes snowbird an interesting destination for families. Furthermore the ski resort is clearly laid out and not very large. Broad trails like “Big Emma” and “Bass Highway” both accessible by the “Mid-Gad Lift” is excellent family terrain as small kids have lots of space to learn how to ski. The local ski school has day care programmes and takes care even of the very young children so parents can venture into more difficult grounds without having to care for their offspring. However due to 1 / 3 of all slopes being are very difficult, Snowbird is not a typical beginner or family resort. But for families whose kids have had some skiing experience snowbird is definitely very recommendable!
