Excellent Snow Coverage from November to April

Panorama Mountain is all about snow coverage. Since the resort is located at an altitude between 1,155m and 2,450m, which is extremely high up for Canadian ski resorts, there is basically always natural snow under your skis. The average temperature of -5°C (23°F) makes for a long-lasting winter wonderland from November to April; hence, the altitude of the ski resort pays off when it comes to the category “snow coverage“.

Natural snow is supported by snowmaking covering over 40 % of the skiable terrain. Anyone who's better safe than sorry should visit Panorama in March, as the third month of the year is considered the most snow-sure month of all. Otherwise, it might be that snow seekers are disappointed when Taynton Bowl remains closed due to a lack of fresh snow. However, it would not be advisable at all to rely on artificial snow here, as this would not correspond to the ski resort's Champagne Powder, for what it is renowned for.
