    A dream-come-true for advanced skiers

Around half of the kilometers of slopes in the Gurgl ski area are assigned to the RED category. Since most of the slopes are also exceedingly wide, the experienced skier will be highly enthusiastic about the ski area. Extensive carving is thus possible almost everywhere in the ski area. The fantastic view over the mountains of the Ötztal, especially at the top station of the Schermerbahn or directly at the restaurant "Top Mountain Star", ensures in good weather that a ski day in Obergurgl becomes an unforgettable experience for all skiers. The panoramic view of northern Italy is breathtaking.

Particularly recommended for sporty skiers are slope number 7 and the descents from the Wurmkogel (number 26 and 27). In addition, there are about 20 kilometers of black-marked slopes. Those looking for a challenge should not miss the steep descent from the Top Mountain Star to the Wurmkogl mid-station in Hochgurgl. Fans of mogul slopes are in the right place in Obergurgl on the descent from Hohe Mut Alm to Gaisberg.

The slopes are perfectly groomed throughout and even the many blue runs by no means cause good skiers to get bored. Due to the enormous size of more than 110 kilometers of slopes, the Gurgl ski area offers a lot of variety. The needs of the advanced skier are therefore well satisfied.
