Trail Map Hovden

The Ski Resort

Hovden is located in the upper Setesdal and is the largest ski area in southern Norway. In total, the ski area on Mount Nos offers 34 kilometres of slopes and a huge network of cross-country ski trails, which covers about 150 km.

There are slopes of all levels of difficulty, but most of them are classified in the easiest (green) to simple (blue) category. Especially the pistes with the numbers 11, 12 and 13 are recommended for beginners. The slope with the number 11 also allows beginners in alpine skiing to ski down from the top of Nos. If you are a bit more sportive, you should not miss the slope with the number 9. It is marked in red and leads from the summit to the valley. For experts there are also some shorter, black marked downhill runs. For young up-and-coming skiers there is also a children's area called Tusseland at the "Hoven Skisenter", which is equipped with two practice lifts and a magic carpet. The ski carousel brings extra fun and those who have had enough of two boards can continue to enjoy the snow on the toboggan run.The fun park Bukkerittet is probably one of the best in Norway and offers everything your heart desires: rails, jumps, kickers, and, and, and...
