Beckenridge – ski paradise for skilled skiers.

Beckenridge scores in the intermediate category. Peak 9, Peak 8 and Peak 7 are home to an abundance of intermediate terrain. Skiers are spoilt for choice: broad carving trails, ungroomed powder runs, moguls – anything the skier heart desires! Leisure skiers looking for nicely groomed slopes will probably feel most comfortable at Peak 9. Trails there are not among the steepest, however the length and breadth make up for the missing precipitousness. Skilled skiers face some real challenge at Peak 10 where demanding trails leading through pine forests, like the “Cimarron” or “Spitfire” await to be conquered. Those looking for some pristine powder runs will love the terrain between Peak 8 and Peak 9 at “Chair 6”. Keep in mind that the powder runs are challenging and should only be ventured into by those strong of leg and lung.
