Limited Food Options

It is quite hard to find "typical" mountain huts in the Canadian ski resorts. Some of the reasons for that may be the fact that most of these focus on skiing rather than anything else; why waste time in the huts when there is time to speed down the mountain instead. Unfortunately, you will not find a wide range of huts and lodges at Mt. Norquay, however, there are some venues to go explore.

Cascade Lodge, located right next to the base area, and Tube Lodge, located at the the base station of the North American Express are your go-to's. Cascade Lodge is home to two dining options: The self-service style Deli & Cafeteria serves a wide range of delicious, home-made fare; upstairs, the full-service Lone Line Pub is where to stop for a pint or two. The North American Lodge offers another Deli & Cafeteria with great food for your early morning starts, for a quick bite at noon or mid-afternoon snack.

This is not enough for you, as you are into other (or further) culinary highlights? The city of Banff offers numerous restaurants for all tastes. Unfortunately, there are no mountain huts in the ski area with magnificent views, as all are close to the base area.
