The Cross-Country Area

15 kilometers (9 miles) of trail at Bolton Valley offer beginners, intermediately skilled and experienced skiers alike the opportunity to find their perfect challenge. Four of its trails are suited for beginners, nine are designed for more experienced cross-country skiers and two are made only for real experts. Equipment can be rented at the Nordic and Sports Center, with individual and group lessons also available. 

The cross-country ski area is also equipped with trails adequate for snowshoeing and fatbiking.

  • The cross-Country skiing area takes you to an elevation of 607 m.
  • Snow coverage is usually best during March, offering an average snow depth of 85 cm at summit elevation and 54 cm at the base.

Dining along the Tracks

James Moore Tavern is a great place to relax after a day on the trails. Among other things, the restaurant serves beer and chicken wings. 

Getting Here

Burlington International Airport is about a 30-minute drive from Bolton Valley Resort. All major airlines have flights to Burlington and you can rent a car at the airport. Parking spaces are located right at the trail entry points.
