Allround models for different terrains
Powder fans know all too well that perfect powder slopes are very rare. This makes it important to have skis that get the best out of all conditions, which is where the freeride models under 100 mm come in very handy.
With a waist width of 90 to 100 mm, they are wide enough to boost the skiers in the deep snow while at the same time providing them with the agility needed to ski down groomed slopes. They are the right choice for all skiers who love back-country skiing but don't want to miss out on the joy of groomed slopes either.
In order to examine the entire range of the models, the freeride skis were tested under perfect conditions in the East Tyrol resort of Kals, both on- and off-piste. Therefore, the total results are composed of the medium score of piste and back-country test.
Target group: Fans of on- and off-piste skiing.
Test winner: Blizzard Bonafide
The only model to reach "excellent" both in the back-country and on the slope is the Blizzard Bonafide and is therefore our deserved champion. With a total score of 83.9 points, the model excels in all categories and is the perfect companion both on and off the slope.
