Six terrain parks across Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is also a serious destination when it comes to freestyle skiing. No less than six (!) terrain parks are spread throughout the ski area. These parks are geared to freestyle skiers and snowboarders of all levels. In fact, the Learn-to-Ride-Park on Bernkogel is specifically designed for novices.

Nightpark Hinterglemm – Shred until 9:30 PM

The most spectacular terrain park is undoubtedly the Nightpark located on the hill directly above Hinterglemm. The Nightpark not only operates during the day from Monday to Saturday, but also all the way through until 9:30 PM thanks to its excellent floodlight system. It is certainly an eye-catching addition to the landscape around Hinterglemm. There are no less than five different lines on offer in this huge terrain park: Easy, medium and pro lines are complemented by a kicker line and a rail line.

    NITRO Snowpark in Leogang

Another well-known terrain park is the NITRO Snowpark in Leogang. It is just down the mountain from the Asitzmuldenbahn between Saalbach and Leogang. Here, too, the park setup allows both beginners and pros to feel at home, so everyone can select the right line for them. The proximity to the Asitzmulden lift is a clear plus-point, guaranteeing easy access for endless park runs. The Nitro Snowpark is reshaped on an almost daily basis, and is therefore usually in top-notch condition.

Other options for beginners, families and experts

If the impressively-sized kicker at the Nightpark appears out of your league, the Learn-to-Ride Park on Bernkogel is probably more up your street. With smaller jumps and beginner’s boxes, this park gives the freestyle skiers of tomorrow the perfect environment to hone their skills. The park is located directly below the Bernkogel surface lift. At the Streuböden middle station in Fieberbrunn there is also a small easy terrain park.

And that’s not all: You can also try some fun tricks on the slopes at Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Down from the Hochalm 6-person lift in Hinterglemm you can ride the “Funcross” trail featuring lots of small jumps, sharp turns, rollers and other fun obstacles. The so-called snow trails are another great idea. Depending on snow levels, these short trails are groomed to include rollers and banked curves. So make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the Snow Trail signs. They are also marked on the trail map, allowing you to plan your route accordingly.

Parks well distributed throughout the ski area

The terrain parks are well spread across the ski area. We therefore award the ski area 9 points in this category without hesitation.
