Ski Resort Postalm at the Wolfgangsee: Position on map

Postalm Ski Resort

Trail Map Postalm

The Ski Resort

The Postalm Arena on Lake Wolfgang is a perfect beginners' and family ski area in the Alps. With magnificent views of the Dachstein massif and the Bischofsmütze, around seven kilometres of slopes  invite you to ski and snowboard. The five kilometres of blue runs are the ideal terrain for beginners. Wide, gentle descents, such as the Panorama slope at the Strobler lift or the family descent at the Welser lift, offer enough space to hone your technique. If you are already a bit more experienced, you can explore the high plateau on 1.6 kilometres of medium-difficult descents. Here you can choose between the sunny slope or the racing slope at the Welser lift.

The little ones are in good hands at the Children's park of the Postalm Ski School. Here they can try their first attempts on the boards. A transport railway and a rope lift ensure comfortable transport to the top. If the kids are already safely on their way, the fun children's forest descent is an absolute highlight. Parents can also let the kids explore the slopes on their own in the open ski area. Thanks to the star-shaped arrangement of the lifts, everyone arrives back at the central starting point and no one is lost.

All around the high plateau Ski tourers can undertake seven different tours. Light ski mountains in the west of the Postalm are for example the Labenberg or the Pitschenberg. A somewhat challenging route leads to the 1,782 metre high Egelseehörndl, the highest elevation in the Osterhorn group.
