With an average snow level of four meters (13 feet), Myoko Suginohara ski resort offers winter sports enthusiasts the best possible conditions. The resort, which comprises 90 hectares (222 acres), is well-known in Japan for its up to 8,500-meter long runs. A night run and a half pipe for snowboarders can also be found in the area. Since children under the age of 13 enter free of charge, Myoko Suginohara is a very popular destination among families.
