The ski resort Mayrhofen is the gate to 139 kilometers skiing terrain and boasts 58 lifts. Definitely enough to even entertain athletic skiers for several days.

The action-packed Penken mountain features an area that is oriented to the needs of skiers and boarders that love to challenge themselves. It has Austria´s steepest trail for experts with pitches of up to 78 degrees. This is really nothing for the faint hearted! Find excellent features that will give you an adrenaline rush and six different areas that challenge every snowboarder and freestyler at Vans Penken terrain park. Hit the main attractions rainbow-box, the multi jib feature ´Bestbox´ and the wall ride. Thanks to the separate chairlift Sun-Jet just above the Pro-area, the terrain park is exceptionally easy accessible. Moreover, you can head towards the race slopes (Unterberg I, Unterberg II and speed run at Gerent)  where you can measure your time and compete against other speed lovers.

The Ahorn is sure to serve up smiles with being THE mountain for skiing on the more leisurely side. The wide carving trails are great for families, beginners and skiers who´s first priority is enjoyment. The 5,5 kilometer (3,4 miles) long slope that descends into the valley should still not be underestimated. The Ahorn boasts a race slope as well. Even riding up Austria´s biggest gondola can be a special experience. The 40 square meter (430 square feet) gondola  has a capacity for 160 guests to get a ride up to the peak.

The action and enjoyment circuits help to get to know every part of the ski resort: The high-altitude tour stretches from one summit to the next and is connected by black and red trails only. Hit the Harakiri run, show off your skills in Vans Penken terrain park and measure your speed on one of the race slopes during the fun & action circuit. If you are up for a longer tour, go and check out the XXL circuit that covers Penken, Horberg, Rastkogel, Eggalm, Harakiri slope and the breathtaking panorama slope. There is also one that is perfect for beginners by featuring only blue trails so that you can practice your first curves. The family circuit Ahorn has a race slope for beginners and you can rest in between at the Igloo village White Lounge.

Freeride skiers and snowboarders love the varied off-piste terrain, which includes powder-filled bowls and drops in the area of Wanlspitzes and Unterbergalm. At SAAC camps you are attended by specially instructors and mountain guides who will do everything to give you important background information and helpful insider tips to make your freeride experience a pleasant one.
