Kvitfjell will be hosting the FIS Ski World Cup from February 17 & 18, 2024 (Mens' Downhill and Super G) and from March 02 & 03, 2024 (Womens' Downhill and Super-G)
The Ski Resort
Kvitfjell is located near Lillehammer and was built explicitly for the 1994 Winter Olympics. Hence, the resort offers a range of challenges: put your ability to the test on steep Olympic and World Cup runs. A total of 38 kilometres of slopes invites you to discover the area. Due to a collaboration of Kvitfjell with neighbouring Hafjell ski resort, your ski pass allows for skiing in both resorts.
For beginners as well as families, Kvitfjell's west side with its easier runs is the place to go. Furthermore, a kid's area is located on Tussebakken. A magic carpet takes you to a terrain filled with jumps, tunnels, arcs, and animal figures that help children learn Alpine skiing in a playful manner.
The local terrain park is perfect for intermediate and expert freestylers, who will find two different lines with rails, kickers, and big jumps.

Kvitfjell offers a number of dining facilities. On the resort's west side, you can find Tyrihans and Koia, boasting a typical Norwegian atmosphere. Furthermore, GudbransGard hotel is situated amidst the ski resort, featuring Prepperiet restaurant as well as a Ski Bar.

Activities
Kvitfjell has a lot to offer off the slopes as well. Possibilities range from dog-sled rides and ice climbing to quad safaris. The Kvitfjelliade, a fun team contest, is a special highlight for larger groups. Compete in games like archery, wood bowling, sack races and more.
Après-Ski and Nightlife
Tryhanstuned or Koia are good locations for après-ski. Or enjoy a drink or two at Hotel GudbransGard's Ski Bar after a long day on the slopes.
Dining and Restaurants
Gourmets should check out GudbrandsGard Hotel. The delicious menu consists of mainly regional products. Whether you are looking to have a romantic candle light dinner, or a family meal - this place offers opportunities for every taste. Moreover, the hotel is home to one of Norway's best wine bars.
Getting here
By car
Coming from Oslo, you drive in direction of Lillehammer, and then towards Fåvang. Take exit E6 and follow the signs to Kvitfjell. If you are heading to the resort's west side, turn left 2 km after the exit and follow the signs to Kvitfjell Vest.
On public transport
Trains go from Oslo to Ringebu every day. From there, simply take a taxi to the ski resort.
