The Ski Resort
The small ski resort Kasina is only one hour away from Krakow and offers almost three kilometres of slopes. A 6-seater chairlift with weatherproof hoods takes winter sports enthusiasts up to 900 metres, where they have to choose between the blue piste no. 1 and the more demanding piste no. 2. Experienced skiers have the possibility to change to the blue piste about halfway down the red piste or to take the black run down to the valley.
For beginners there is also a particularly easy practice slope with a 100-metre-long magic carpet in the valley area.
Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. the slopes are newly groomed and prepared for night skiing, which is possible daily from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Kasina is located about 50 kilometers south of Krakow and can be reached via the DW964.
There is a free ski bus that takes winter sports enthusiasts from Krakow, Wieliczka, Gdów, Dobczyce, Wiśniowa and Rabka Zdrój to the ski resort. The journey from Krakow takes about an hour, from Rabka Zdrój it is only 20 minutes.
