Big Snow Resort in Michigan offers 165 hektars acres of pure winter fun! The resort spreads across two mountains: Blackjack Mountain and Indianhead Mountain. With just one ticket you have access to 56 runs with 15 lifts and 3 terrain parks. A courtesy shuttle by the resort brings you from one mountain to the other.

Blackjack Mountain

Blackjack Mountain has 26 runs, 6 lifts and two terrain parks. The runs are mostly of easy or medium difficulty, there's even a designated area for beginners right next to the main lodge. Nevertheless there is still plenty to do for athletes. There are nine difficult and even 2 extremely difficult runs to challenge you.

The two terrain parks are also great for all levels. The Just Cuz Park has smaller features for those who are want to make their first attempts and the Narrow Gauge offers tons of fun and action for advanced riders. Loggers Lounge is the perfect opportunity to rest between runs or after a long day of skiing.

Indianhead Mountain

Indianhead Mountain offers 30 runs and nine lifts. Half of the runs are rated with a black diamond and are best suited for experts and advanced skiers and boarders. The Big Chief Natural Terrain Park is no joke either and perfect for ambitious freeriders. Kids and Beginners aren't being left out: There is a rope lift and a magic carpet in the Totem Park Learning Area right next to the ticket office.

The Voyagers Highway is a very special run on indianhead Mountain. With about 16 hektars of slope, this run is bigger than many ski resorts altogether. The Sky Bar provides you with food and drink throughout your day and at Dudleys Saloon you can even go out to a nice dinner.

Activities

Off-slope there is much more for you to experience at the Big Snow Resort! Both mountains feature a Yeti Snow Fort with a built-in tube slide. Explore the fort, build your very own snowman and take a toboggan ride on a tube.

If you've had enough snow for one day, you can enjoy a family movie night in the beanbag theater at the Indianhead Main Lodge. For more action, head over to Blackjack Mountain and try out the Bungee Jump Trampoline, for jumping and flipping at any age. You can also take yoga and painting classes.

However, even if the lifts close for the night, doesn't mean the fun in the snow needs to come to an end: You can enjoy yourself around a bonfire or participate in a guided snowshoe tour under the moonlight through the scenic Northwoods.
