Limelight Hotel Snowmass in Snowmass

Modeled after existing Limelight hotels in Aspen, Colorado and Ketchum, Idaho, the new Limelight Hotel Snowmass provides its guests with cozy comfortable rooms, easy ski-in/ski-out access, and a number of amenities and extras. The hotel is located adjacent to Snowmass Mountain's Elk Camp Gondola in Snowmass Village near Aspen, and features 99 rooms as well as 11 for-sale condominiums.

Various Amenities

There is a number of facilities to make a stay at Limelight Snowmass agreeable for everyone. Children may find enjoyment in the Kids Room's toys and books, or at the ice-skating rink located just outside the hotel. For a bit of post-slope relaxation, two pool spas offer spa-side cabanas and a fireplace.

If you are the sporty type, the 1,000-square-foot fitness centre provides you with modern equipment as well as towels, a change room with shower, and complimentary headphones. Moreover, Limelight Hotel Snowmass features Colorado's largest indoor rock-realistic climbing wall. Five stories high and running directly up the front of the hotel, it includes three self-belay routes, one of which is suitable for beginners.

For an après-ski experience to your personal taste, you can either relax with some drinks and live music at the lounge, or stay in and book the hotel's Dinner and a Movie package including a 10'' pizza, two small salads and one in-room movie.

The daily resort fee of 6% added to each room account covers airport transfers to and from Aspen Airport, in-town transportation, daily skier shuttles, ski valet, breakfast, fitness centre, wifi, and domestic phone calls.

Snowmass Mountain Club

Guests are also able to join Snowmass Mountain Club, a cozy-chic club ideal for couples and families. The club offers exclusive on- and off-mountain experiences, such as first tracks, moonlight cross-country skiing, a ski valet, or après-ski in the club lounge.

The 99 rooms at Limelight Hotel Snowmass are divided into four categories: Deluxe, Grand Deluxe, Luxury, and Terrace. The latter three include a balcony (of varying size). Luxury rooms feature a fireplace. Rooms have village or mountain view, and can be booked in one-king and two-queen configurations.

The rooms feature extensive equipment ranging from large flat-screen televisions with HD TV channels and Video On-Demand, microwaves, refrigerators and coffeemakers to individual air conditioning and many more.

Along with an extended continental breakfast, Limelight Hotel Snowmass entertains its guests with dining opportunities at the lounge. The menu includes wood-fired pizzas, garden-fresh salads as well as locally sourced entrées with an international twist, according to season.

Twice a month, the hotel offers pairing or speciality dinners, where guests receive a guided selection of beer, craft spirit, or fine wine to complement the culinary experience.

Further dining facilities can be found in and around Snowmass Village, with international cuisine as well as adventurous dinners that include dog sledding or a ride on snowcats.

Snowmass Village is only a 20 minute drive away from Aspen. Go for a stroll in downtown Aspen, where you will find Aspen Art Museum, Aspen Institute, and two ghost towns as well as Wheeler Opera House.

With only one lift ticket, you have the opportunity to ski or snowboard on all four mountains belonging to Aspen: Snowmass, Highlands, Buttermilk, and Mountain. Nordic and cross-country skiing is another popular activity at Snowmass. Or discover the numerous hiking trails that lend themselves to snowshoeing.

Right outside Limelight Hotel Snowmass, a spacious ice-skating rink invites you to get into a pair of skates and try a different kind of winter fun. Don't miss out on the 5-storey climbing wall, even if you are a beginner. The lower route and supervision of trained staff make it a safe experience for everyone. More experienced climbers can venture onto the two higher routes extending over the full height of the wall.

Limelight Hotel Snowmass is perfectly suitable for families. At the Kids Room, children find a selection of toys and books as well as a space to meet other kids. Cribs, diaper genies, and rollaway beds (charge) are available upon request to make for comfortable family rooms.

Limelight Hotel Snowmass is located in Snowmass Village, right by Elk Camp Gondola, at only 9.7 miles from Aspen-Pitkin County Airport. A free shuttle service to and from the airport is available for hotel guests. Round-trip service to and from airports in Eagle, Grand Junction and Denver is available at an additional charge.

If you come to Limelight by car, follow Co Hwy. 82 to Bush Creek Rd. Turn right, and travel for 2.7 miles to the traffic circle. Continue straight on Bush Creek Rd. At the next traffic circle, take the third exit onto Wood Rd. Proceed a short distance to the Limelight Hotel Snowmass.
