The Cross-Country Area

Cross-country skiers can enjoy around 80 km of trails in La Plagne. The trails are spread over the high-altitude resorts of Plagne Montalbert and Montchavin Les Coches. There are many circular trails in the individual villages, which are ideal for beginners.

The 30-kilometre-long Champagny-le-Haut trail in the Nordic Centre is recommended for fit winter sports enthusiasts. The trail is marked with an easy to medium difficulty level and gives you a fantastic view of the Grand Casse in La Vanoise National Park. The Nordic Centre is easily accessible by bus. The neighbouring Les Arcs 1800 offers another 15 kilometres of trails, including two high-altitude trails.

As the La Plagne ski area is part of the Paradiski ski network, cross-country skiers can enjoy a total network of 153 km within the ski network.

Getting Here

La Plagne / Paradiski is located about 120 kilometres northeast of Grenoble. In winter, you can only get there via Albertville-Moutiers, as the other passes are closed at this time of year. The mountain roads to the valley resorts of the ski area are well developed and easy to pass.
