The Cross-Country Area
La Clusaz offers 2 nordic areas: the Confins Plateau and the Beauregard Plateau.
The Confins Plateau is linked to Le Grand Bornand nordic area thanks to a black slope. It is an well-known site since it has hosted the Cross-Country World Cup several times (and it will host it again on 2013, January, 19th and 20th). This area represents 50km of slopes, and the Beauregard Plateau represents 20km.
We do have nordic skischools on both areas, with kids gardens and laser biathlon.

- Elevated between 1,400 m and 1,700 m, the Cross-Country Skiing Area is among the 15 highest elevated Cross-Country Skiing Areas in France.
- Average snow depth during the season is 194 cm at summit elevation and 36 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during March, offering an average snow depth of 228 cm at summit elevation and 33 cm at the base. Therefore La Clusaz is among the 15 cross-Country Skiing Areas with best snow conditions in France.
