Cross-Country Skiing Falls Creek

Trail Map Falls Creek

The Cross-Country Area

At Falls Creek, 70km/43.5mi of cross-country tracks can be used free of charge. Its trail net makes it one of the biggest cross-country areas in Australia. At Windy Corner, cross-country skiers find a Nordic Centre with restaurant, toilets, and rental. Beginners should start here, as it is the beginning of a number of easy trails (marked green). More experienced skiers find a great choice of tracks, as around 50 percent of the cross-country runs are marked as intermediate. If you have enough stamina, you can tackle the longest track, The Rocky Valley Lake Loop, with a length of 21km/13mi.
